Good staff members will be able to make recommendations regarding food and drinks, as well as providing customer service that exceeds customers' needs and expectations. Compensation includes hourly wage and tips. Responsibilities Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons Interact with customers, take orders and serve food and drinks Assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations Check customers' identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age Restock and replenish inventory and supplies during shift Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience Comply with all food and beverage regulations Skills Resume and proven working experience as a server and some bartender Computer literacy Positive attitude and excellent communication skills Ability to keep the server or bar areas organized, stocked and clean Relevant training certificates
