Overview We are seeking a friendly, attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest experiences through excellent food and beverage service, ensuring customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment. Experience with food handling, guest relations, and POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable. This role offers an opportunity to work in a vibrant setting, providing memorable dining experiences for our guests. Prior experience in fine dining, hospitality, or food service is preferred, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in the food industry. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Handle cash and process payments accurately using POS or cashiering systems Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently followed during food handling and serving Assist with bussing tables, resetting tables, and maintaining cleanliness of dining areas Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and guest satisfaction Provide excellent guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive dining experience Skills Proven experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is preferred Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities Previous experience in fine dining or hospitality environments is advantageous Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy Effective communication skills for guest interactions and teamwork within the restaurant setting Experience with food preparation, serving, bussing, or host/hostess duties is a plus Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends as needed This position offers an engaging work environment where hospitality skills are valued and developed.
