In this role, you will be the face of our restaurant, delivering exceptional customer service while efficiently managing food and beverage orders. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will ensure every guest feels welcomed and valued. Whether you're taking orders, upselling menu items, or maintaining a clean and safe environment, your contributions will help foster a lively, upscale dining atmosphere. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills in food service and hospitality within a vibrant setting. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using Revel POS system Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction an increase sales Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety standards are maintained at all times Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring a positive experience Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to coordinate seating and waitlist procedures Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and basic math calculations Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, bar stations, and service stations in accordance with sanitation regulations Support host/hostess duties when necessary by managing guest flow and seating arrangements Support guests with to-go food orders Qualifications Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred; fine dining experience is a plus Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing time efficiently Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices Experience in food handling, food preparation, or kitchen support is advantageous Excellent communication skills for guest interactions and team collaboration Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing Previous host/hostess or serving experience is beneficial but not required; training provided for motivated candidates Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering exceptional hospitality!
