Responsibilities Greet guests promptly with a friendly smile and guide them to their tables, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and relay orders efficiently to the kitchen Provide detailed menu descriptions, recommend specials, and upsell items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Serve food and drinks with professionalism, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining accountability for all sales Maintain cleanliness of tables and dining areas by bussing tables and assisting with sanitation procedures in compliance with health regulations Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction throughout their visit Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and billing Strong knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety practices Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining genuine guest interactions Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction management Experience in serving or host/hostess roles with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence Join our team where your passion for food and exceptional service will help create unforgettable dining experiences!
