Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced food service environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by providing exceptional service and attention to detail. Duties Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor. Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using the cash register or Point of Sale (POS) system, such as OpenTable. Deliver food and drinks to tables in a timely manner while ensuring proper presentation. Assist with bussing tables, clearing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area. Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately. Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and dietary restrictions to provide informed recommendations to guests. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations by properly sanitizing work areas and handling food according to health standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally to enhance their dining experience. Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude are essential. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions effectively. Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus. Experience with cash registers or POS systems is advantageous. A passion for culinary arts and providing excellent service is highly valued.
