In this role, you will handle retail sales transactions, take customer orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure an exceptional dining experience. Your energy and attention to detail will help create a lively atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine customer service with food industry skills in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Process retail sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and digital payments with precision. Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards. Assist in food preparation tasks when needed, supporting kitchen staff to deliver quality dishes quickly. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas, counters, and food handling stations in compliance with health regulations. Upsell menu items by recommending specials or popular products to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Support bussing duties by clearing tables, resetting dining areas, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests. Skills Proven experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or fast food environments with strong customer service skills. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for retail sales transactions and cashiering duties. Knowledge of food preparation, handling, sanitation, and food safety management practices. Ability to manage time effectively in a busy setting while multitasking between serving, cashiering, and cleaning duties. Strong communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members alike. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and processing transactions accurately. Previous experience in culinary settings or café environments is highly desirable to support food industry operations.
