As our team expands for the upcoming 2026 season, Julep is looking for skilled and strong servers and bartenders. Julep is nestled in the gently rolling hills of the Blue Ridge Mountains lies 22 acres of stunning and picturesque pastures. Large white oak and persimmon trees line the creek beds, while the ever-changing mountain vistas and star-filled nights, illuminated by the glow of fireflies, create a captivating scene in the valley. Within this beauty is Julep Farms, a modern farm resort. Guests at Julep can enjoy the natural surroundings, as well as the gardens and farm life that are available for everyone to appreciate. The Julep Market offers a wide selection of unique home and garden items, handmade jewelry, and much more. For coffee lovers and those looking for a quick grab-and-go lunch or a sweet treat, the Julep Coffee and Sweets Bar is the perfect spot to satisfy your cravings. The restaurant, known as the JULEP KITCHEN, features New American cuisine with a decidedly Southern Twist. The kitchen focuses on seasonal cooking with high-quality, fresh ingredients. The Julep Bar offers an extensive selection of wines and champagnes, locally crafted beers, and creatively mixed cocktails, with the classic Mint Julep as a standout feature. Position Overview Julep Farms is seeking warm, attentive servers to join our welcoming family. You'll be the friendly face guiding guests through a memorable dining experience—whether under our open-air pavilion or in our scenic indoor spaces. Your role is essential in delivering that signature balance of gracious Southern service and modern flair. Key Responsibilities Greet guests with genuine Southern charm and assist them in menu selections. Take orders, explain ingredients (including farm-fresh and locally sourced items), and deliver food & beverages with a warm, professional touch. Work closely with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely, correct, and beautifully presented orders. Maintain clean, inviting tables and dining areas; reset tables promptly for the next guests. Suggest house specials, seasonal items, and craft cocktails to enhance the guest experience. Handle guest questions, special requests, and resolve any concerns with hospitality and poise. Operate point‑of‑sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently. Collaborate with coworkers to foster a smooth service flow and positive atmosphere. What We're Looking For 2+ years of experience as a server in casual or upscale environments; farm-to-table or fine-dining experience is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills, a heartfelt smile, and a courteous demeanor. Ability to multitask efficiently, remain poised under pressure, and adapt gracefully. Passion for Southern hospitality, fresh food, and the Julep Farms guest experience. Familiarity with POS systems.
