Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted. Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales, recommending popular dishes or beverages based on guest preferences. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and processing payments with POS systems. Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables promptly, resetting dining areas, and adhering to sanitation standards for food safety. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food preparation and delivery, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times. Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle guest inquiries professionally. Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations and order processing. Knowledge of food handling procedures, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts efficiently. Ability to upsell menu items confidently to boost sales while enhancing the guest experience. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, billing, and change calculation.
