In this role, you will be the face of our restaurant, delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, knowledgeable recommendations, and a positive attitude. Your enthusiasm for food, hospitality, and guest relations will help create memorable dining moments for every guest. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements using reservation systems such as OpenTable or similar platforms Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely communication with kitchen staff Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation Provide attentive guest service by checking in regularly, addressing concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction throughout the dining experience Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments through POS systems, and manage cash handling responsibilities with integrity Assist with food handling, food preparation support, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to uphold sanitation standards Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or upscale restaurants Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms; experience with OpenTable is a plus Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and excellent communication abilities Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while multitasking efficiently Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques Culinary experience or kitchen background is advantageous but not required Basic math skills for cash handling and bill splitting; experience with cashiering is preferred Familiarity with food industry standards including serving etiquette, upselling techniques, and guest relations Join us to be part of a dynamic team that thrives on delivering exceptional hospitality!
