Summary of Position:
Assist servers to ensure all guests are welcome when they arrive in the restaurant and ensure the dining room and guest access areas are neat, tidy, and clean.
Qualifications:
Ability to work under pressure, stay calm and maintain professionalism.
Accountability:
  • Cleanliness of the dining room and facilities before and during service
  • Swift clearing, cleaning, sanitizing, and resetting of tables between guest occupancy
Basic Duties and Responsibilities:
Promote, work, and act in accordance with Seed Hospitality Group Core Purpose and Core Values, and company policies as described in the employee handbook. Maintain good personal hygiene and be well groomed
  • follow the company's uniform policy. Follow the FOH
  • Server Assistant (SA)'s opening and closing checklists.
Reset and clear tables. Prepare water bottles for tables. Polish all glassware before it is set on the table. Ensure the main dining room, entrance, service areas, and restrooms are clean and neat before and during the service hours. Frequently sanitize all touch points by guests, including door handles. Serve a bottle of drinking water upon guests' arrival and bring a new, full bottle when necessary. Open the front door for guests entering or leaving the restaurant when possible. Stock service areas with supplies such as coffee, sugar caddies, silverware, and linens. Attend all daily lineups and share suggestions/ideas for improvement. Arrive on time for your scheduled shift.
