Job Summary We are on the lookout for a friendly, energetic Server to join our vibrant restaurant team. As a Server, you'll be the face of our establishment, creating memorable dining experiences by providing top-notch guest service in a lively and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about food and hospitality, enjoys engaging with guests, and thrives in a fast-paced setting. Your role will involve taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and ensuring every guest leaves satisfied and eager to return. Duties Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, offering recommendations when appropriate. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness. Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while adhering to sanitation and food safety standards. Assist with food preparation tasks when needed and support kitchen staff during busy periods. Maintain cleanliness of dining areas by bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and ensuring guest relations are positive throughout their visit. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub environments. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is a plus. Strong customer service skills with an ability to connect with diverse guests. Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours. Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and order accuracy. Experience with food industry standards including serving, bussing, and host/hostess duties is advantageous.
