We fully guarantee you will never make less than the standard federal minimum wage during slow shifts. Duties Greet guests warmly, provide menus, and answer questions about our authentic Persian dishes and Mediterranean fare with enthusiasm. Guide guests through our unique offerings, including our in-house fresh baked sangak bread, signature wings, and weekend breakfast specialties. Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff. Serve food and drinks promptly, maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness. Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Manage table settings, clear dishes, buss tables, and assist with food handling and sanitation to uphold food safety standards. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and basic math calculations for bills and tips. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and guest satisfaction in a fast-paced environment. Requirements Previous restaurant experience or food service background preferred; experience with Persian or Mediterranean cuisine is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle guest relations effectively. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours and weekend shifts. Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols in accordance with health regulations. Ability to perform basic math for cashiering, cash handling, and billing purposes. Experience in serving, bussing tables, host/hostess duties, or food preparation is advantageous.
