The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and possess strong communication skills. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality food and beverage service while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Duties Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring their comfort throughout their dining experience. Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems, ensuring all special requests are noted. Provide recommendations on menu items, including upselling specials and pairing suggestions to enhance the guest experience. Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring that presentation meets the standards of fine dining. Monitor tables for guest satisfaction, responding promptly to any requests or concerns. Process payments accurately through cash handling and cashiering procedures, ensuring proper math calculations for checks. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, adhering to food safety standards. Assist with bussing tables and resetting them for new guests as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and service, fostering strong guest relations through effective communication. Qualifications Previous restaurant experience in a server role is preferred; fine dining experience is a plus. Familiarity with point-of-sale systems is highly desirable. Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and hospitality. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately; ability to perform calculations quickly is essential. Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards within the food industry. Culinary experience or kitchen background is advantageous but not required. Experience as a host/host or in guest services can enhance your application.
