Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a passion for the culinary arts, and the ability to efficiently manage time while providing excellent service to our guests. This role involves both serving customers and handling cash transactions, ensuring a smooth dining experience. Duties Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly and taking their orders accurately. Operate the Aloha POS or Micros POS system to process transactions efficiently. Prepare food items in accordance with safety and sanitation standards, ensuring high-quality presentation. Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Handle cash transactions responsibly, including cash handling and providing change accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and ensuring sanitation standards are met. Assist in food preparation as needed, demonstrating culinary skills and knowledge of food handling practices. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any customer inquiries or concerns promptly. Experience Previous experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant is preferred, with familiarity in cashiering and customer service roles. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in sanitation is essential. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is a plus, along with basic math skills for accurate cash handling. Culinary experience or kitchen experience is beneficial for understanding food preparation processes.
