Food Runner

Position Summary :

A Food Runner is the connecting piece between the kitchen and front of house operation. Food Runners are expected to deliver food, clear tables, and act as a server assistant for the front of house wait staff while displaying exceptional guest service. Sea Palms Resort features 123 rooms, an 18 hole golf course, and a full service on-site restaurant. Restaurant Manager Essential Functions :

Serve guest & members their meals in an efficient manner. Communicate orders to the kitchen staff. Clear dirty dishes and glasses, reset tables, wipe down chairs, and maintain a clean environment. Responsible for stocking and labeling condiments in the kitchen.

Experience :

Previous experience in a restaurant preferred. On the job training is provided. Skills and Abilities Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Other Must speak English fluently. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills. Mathematical skills include basic math. Problem solving, reasoning, and ability to multi-task and interact with people under pressure. Will be expected to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
