Duties Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with a professional and friendly demeanor Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast POS, ensuring clear communication with the kitchen and bar staff Upsell menu items and wine pairings to enhance guest experience and increase sales Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining proper food handling, sanitation, and safety standards Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal, promptly addressing any concerns to ensure a positive experience Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and resetting tables to maintain a smooth flow of service Manage cash handling and cashiering duties accurately using POS systems like Toast or similar platforms Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations, adhering to sanitation regulations and food safety protocols Support guest relations by providing knowledgeable recommendations about menu items, specials, and wine selections Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service in a fast-paced fine dining environment Experience Proven experience as a server in fine dining restaurants or upscale food service environments Strong knowledge of food industry standards, including food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling techniques Experience with POS systems such as Toast POS or OpenTable is highly preferred Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining excellent customer service skills Background in culinary or kitchen experience is a plus for better understanding of food preparation and presentation Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Prior host/hostess or serving experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is advantageous Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and billing procedures Join us if you're passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, culinary knowledge, and a lively team spirit.
