AUXILIARY FRONT OF HOUSE TEAM
Roles & Responsibilities The Sanctum at Sugar Hill At The Sanctum, auxiliary staff are the support system behind an elevated dining experience. These positions work together to maintain flow, hospitality, cleanliness, timing, and guest satisfaction throughout service.
BUSSER Primary Purpose:
Maintain cleanliness, reset tables quickly, and support the dining room flow.
Responsibilities:
Clear and sanitize tables efficiently Reset tables to Sanctum standards Refill water stations and assist with beverage service Maintain cleanliness of dining room, patio, and service stations Assist servers and runners during peak service Remove trash and transport dishes to dish area Maintain polished appearance of dining areas throughout service

FOOD RUNNER
Primary Purpose:
Deliver food accurately and professionally while assisting with communication between kitchen and dining room teams.
Responsibilities:
Deliver food promptly and accurately to guests Ensure food presentation meets Sanctum standards Communicate with kitchen and servers regarding ticket timing Describe dishes when presenting food to guests Assist with table maintenance during service Monitor guest needs while on the floor Help maintain organized expo and kitchen pass areas

SERVER ASSISTANT
Primary Purpose:
Support servers to create seamless, elevated guest experiences.
Responsibilities:
Assist servers with table maintenance Refill beverages and bread service Pre-bus tables throughout dining experience Assist with guest requests quickly and professionally Help maintain service stations and side work Support timing and pacing of service Assist with opening and closing duties

BAR SUPPORT / BAR BACK
Primary Purpose:
Support bartenders and maintain bar efficiency during service.
Responsibilities:
Restock liquor, wine, beer, garnishes, and glassware Maintain cleanliness behind the bar Prepare bar garnishes and support setup Remove empty glassware and assist with dish flow Help maintain lounge atmosphere and organization Assist bartenders during high-volume periods

HOSPITALITY SUPPORT TEAM
Primary Purpose:
Assist in creating a refined, welcoming, and polished guest experience throughout the restaurant and lounge.
Responsibilities:
Assist with guest flow and seating transitions Maintain restroom and public area cleanliness Support private dining and lounge experiences Assist with special events and large parties Provide additional support wherever needed during service Uphold The Sanctum's hospitality standards at all times
