The Food Runner plays a vital role in ensuring a smooth dining experience by delivering food promptly and maintaining excellent customer service standards. This position offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in the food service industry, especially within hospitality, catering, and restaurant environments. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences. Duties Deliver prepared dishes from the kitchen to guests in a timely and professional manner Assist with bussing tables and clearing dishes to maintain cleanliness and efficiency Support servers by refilling beverages and attending to guest needs when necessary Ensure food presentation meets quality standards before delivery Maintain cleanliness of service areas, including wiping down tables and organizing supplies Help with food handling and basic kitchen tasks as needed Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service hours Uphold food safety standards and proper hygiene practices at all times Requirements Previous experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality is preferred but not required Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team Knowledge of food handling, serving, and basic cleaning procedures Ability to stand for extended periods and carry trays or dishes safely Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly and professional demeanor Experience with bussing, cleaning, or supporting restaurant operations is a plus Prior kitchen or hotel experience can be advantageous but is not mandatory Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
