Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements using reservation systems such as OpenTable or similar platforms Take accurate food and beverage orders, utilizing POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS to ensure efficient processing Provide detailed menu descriptions, recommend specials, and upsell items to enhance guest experience and increase sales Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation Check in with guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and processing payments through POS systems Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations; assist with bussing tables and food handling as needed Uphold food safety standards and sanitation protocols in food preparation areas and during service Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely delivery of orders while adhering to food industry regulations Support guest relations by providing friendly, attentive service that encourages repeat visits and positive reviews Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms Strong knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and enthusiastically Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and sales upselling techniques Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by hospitality operations Experience with reservation platforms like OpenTable is advantageous Knowledge of food industry terminology such as serving standards, food preparation basics, and guest relations techniques Join us in creating lively dining experiences where every guest feels valued!
