Full Job Description Position Overview:

Cocktail Server - 2nd Shift. 5pm-10pm. 25-30 hours a week. Weekends required At The Current Hotel, our Cocktail Servers deliver more than drinks—they deliver moments worth remembering. Key responsibilities Greeting and seating customers Taking food and beverage orders and accurately entering them into the ordering system Making menu item recommendations Communicating any food allergy or special nutrition needs to kitchen staff Ensuring all orders are filled quickly and accurately and that food is high quality Providing attentive service to diners, like refilling drinks as needed and checking their needs during meals Promptly addressing any customer service issues and referring to management if and when necessary Verify identification and age requirements of customers Mix traditional and creative cocktails Process payment from customers Clean glasses and bar utensils Make suggestions based on customer tastes and preferences Record and balance cash receipts and prepare cash deposits Open and maintain tabs throughout their shift Build a rapport with regular customers to create a positive atmosphere 2 years serving experience required. Bartending, catering, banquet service is a big plus.
