•also a tipped position•Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced hospitality environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that guests receive their orders promptly and with exceptional service. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for guest services within the culinary field. We are looking for one who ensures that orders are fulfilled correctly and efficiently. They act as a liaison between the kitchen and waitstaff. Responsibilities Prioritize orders, Ensure orders are fulfilled correctly, Assist with final dish preparation and ensure accuracy of guest's orders Duties Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding order status and any special requests from guests. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, ensuring all items are stocked and readily available. Collaborate with team members to enhance guest satisfaction through outstanding hospitality practices. Support food preparation efforts during peak times as needed, contributing to overall kitchen efficiency. Utilize Toast POS system for order tracking and communication with the front-of-house team. Requirements Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and team members. Knowledge of food service operations, including food preparation and banquet service is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for culinary arts and commitment to providing excellent guest experiences. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
