Job Description

Orchard Valley Golf Course, located in Aurora, IL , is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Part-Time Food Runner ! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon , you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management. Assures that all materials used by servers are clean and ready for daily operation Maintains knowledge of the position of each diner's chair in the dining rooms and lounges Sets the service line with underliner plates, flatware, doilies, linen napkins, and any other items needed for food delivery Organizes plates in the window and matches each item with the corresponding ticket for delivery to tables Sets tables in accordance with Troon standards Ensures that each menu item meets the specifications outlined on each ticket Communicates with the chef to correct any items that do not meet specifications before delivery Fills and refills water glasses and removes unused place settings Clears dishes from guests' tables upon completion of each course Clears and resets tables when guests leave, including but not limited to changing tablecloths, brushing chairs, repositioning chairs, and replacing silverware, glassware, and napkins Assists servers as needed Keeps workstations stocked with necessary items and ingredients Cleans workstations, removes trash, and vacuums the dining room Incorporates safe work practices in job performance Performs other duties as required One month of related experience or training Demonstrates professionalism, cleanliness, and attention to detail Regular and reliable attendance, including weekends and holidays Healthcare Benefits
