Banquet Server (Part-Time) The Chateau Hotel & Conference Center - Bloomington, IL 61704
Position Type:
Part-Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt, $15-$18/hr.

Core Values Are able and willing to learn and be 100% adaptable Display ownership mentality in every situation Maintain an attitude of hospitality and positive perspective at all times Maintain dependability and focus on the team at all times Be a brand ambassador at all times Position Summary The Chateau Hotel & Conference Center is seeking energetic and customer-focused Banquet Servers to join our hospitality team. Banquet Servers are responsible for providing exceptional food and beverage service during weddings, conferences, banquets, and special events. The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, and thrives in a fast-paced team environment. Schedule & Compensation Part-time position 20-35 hours per week Hours will vary based on event schedules and business needs Availability must include nights, weekends, and holidays
Pay:
$15-$18 per hour Essential Duties & Responsibilities Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications Provide food and beverage service to guests during events Maintain professionalism and excellent customer service at all times Clear tables, remove dishes, and assist with event breakdown and cleanup Refill beverages and respond promptly to guest requests Work closely with banquet captains, kitchen staff, and event coordinators Ensure banquet areas remain clean, organized, and presentable Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company service standards Qualifications Previous banquet, restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred, but not required Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong teamwork and attention to detail Professional appearance and positive attitude Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays What We Offer Competitive hourly pay Flexible scheduling Opportunity to work a variety of exciting events Supportive and team-oriented work environment Hospitality and event experience growth opportunities The Chateau Hotel & Conference Center is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applicants from all backgrounds.
