Whether guiding guests through menu selections or providing expert food and beverage service, you'll be a key player in fostering a lively, hospitable atmosphere that keeps patrons coming back. Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring quick and correct processing Recommend menu items, upsell specials, and promote featured dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction Assist with food handling, food preparation support, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas Utilize reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements Requirements Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is a plus Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude Ability to handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Culinary or kitchen experience is advantageous for understanding food preparation processes Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours Basic math skills for order calculations, billing, and cash handling Previous host/hostess or serving experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential Join us to be part of a dynamic team where your energy makes a difference!
