Duties Safely transport prepared dishes from the kitchen to tables or designated service areas, ensuring presentation quality. Assist servers by delivering food efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and handling. Clear and reset tables quickly to prepare for incoming guests, supporting overall restaurant cleanliness and organization. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food delivery and address any special requests or modifications. Support the culinary team with basic food preparation tasks when needed, including plating or garnishing. Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and dietary restrictions to answer guest questions confidently. Uphold all food safety standards and sanitation procedures in accordance with health regulations and company policies. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, including roles involving serving, bussing, or food handling. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus for understanding order flow. Experience with banquet service, catering events, or hotel hospitality enhances your ability to adapt quickly in diverse settings. Strong communication skills are essential for coordinating with team members and engaging positively with guests. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper handling procedures ensures quality service and compliance with health standards. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment is required.
