Ovvio Italian Taverna is seeking a friendly, attentive, and experienced Server to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, share our passion for authentic Italian cuisine, and create a warm, memorable dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:

Greet guests warmly and assist with seating Present menus, answer questions about dishes, and recommend wine pairings Accurately take food and beverage orders using our POS system Serve food and drinks promptly and professionally Check on guests periodically to ensure satisfaction Handle guest requests and resolve any issues with professionalism Clear tables and maintain cleanliness in the dining area Upsell menu items and daily specials to enhance guest experience Follow all food safety, hygiene, and alcohol service standards Process payments accurately and issue receipts

Qualifications:

Prior experience as a server, preferably in an Italian or Italian-inspired restaurant Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of Italian cuisine and wine is a bonus Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings Basic math skills for handling cash and payments
