Busser/Food Runner

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and with exceptional service. This position requires a passion for the food industry, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to create an outstanding dining experience. Responsibilities Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately. Assist servers by ensuring that all necessary items are available for each table, including utensils, condiments, and drinks. Maintain cleanliness in the dining area by clearing plates, glasses, and utensils promptly after guests finish their meals. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and presentation of dishes. Help set up and break down dining areas before and after service. Provide excellent customer service by addressing any guest inquiries or needs promptly. Uphold health and safety standards in food handling and cleanliness throughout the restaurant. Qualifications Previous experience in the food service or hospitality industry is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor to interact effectively with guests and team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A team-oriented mindset with a willingness to help others, including bussing tables and supporting kitchen staff as needed. Knowledge of basic food safety practices is a plus.
