Food Runner

Job Summary We are looking for an energetic and reliable Food Runner to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will be the crucial link between the kitchen and our guests, ensuring that food is delivered promptly, accurately, and with a friendly attitude. Responsibilities Deliver hot and cold food orders from the kitchen to tables efficiently and accurately. Assist servers by bussing tables and clearing dishes to maintain a clean dining area. Support food preparation tasks as needed, including plating or garnishing dishes under supervision. Ensure all food handling and safety standards are followed during delivery and service. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to coordinate timely service. Help maintain cleanliness in the service area, including organizing trays and ensuring proper storage of utensils. Provide friendly guest service by answering basic questions about menu items when requested. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of food handling, safety regulations, and restaurant operations such as POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong communication skills to interact clearly with team members and guests. Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Experience with banquet service, bussing, or kitchen work is advantageous. A positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn new skills are essential for success in this role.
