Job Description

Job Title:
Server Summary Serves meals to patrons in dining establishment by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Presents menu, answers questions, and makes suggestions regarding food and service. Takes customer orders. Relays orders to kitchen Garnishes and decorates dishes preparatory to serving. Serves patrons at table. Observes diners to respond to any additional requests and to determine when meal has been completed. Totals bill and accepts payment. Ladles soup, portions pies and desserts, brews coffee, and performs other services as necessary. Clears and resets tables at conclusion of each course Responsible for cleaning the restaurant throughout the shift and as a part of closing duties
