Job Description Requirements:
a. Build, install, and configure physical and virtual servers and maintain standard DISANet server baseline image and configuration on all DISANet/DITCO server infrastructure. b. Install, monitor, patch, and troubleshoot software, operating system, and application issues; provide daily monitoring of mission application output to ensure systems and processes are operating properly; mitigate and resolve server hardware and/or software problems. c. Implement, administer, modify and troubleshoot accounts and group policy settings, user/application ac-count management, application maintenance (server hardware, operating system, patch maintenance, and application support); International Business Machines (IBM) Mainframe technical support; provide local and remote administration of more than 500 network authentication accounts, over 500 email accounts, ap-proximately 400 IBM Mainframe accounts, and approximately 350 Standard Procurement System (SPS) Procurement Desktop - Defense (PD2), Electronic Document Management System (EDMS), and Contract Support System (CSS) accounts to include: create, delete, modify, and provide appropriate account access rights and permissions in support of DITCO Non-secure Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNet) and Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet) DISANet users and customers: DITCO, DFAS, Head-quarters, and RM. d. Provide hardware lifecycle replacement, wireless device support, and building peripheral support for wire-less handheld devices, access points, printers, scanners, facsimile machines, and copiers. e. Provide network service management for Domain Name System, Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol, and printing capabilities. f. Provide property accountability. g. Provide incident acknowledgement feedback, tracking, and incident escalation. h. Provide server data backup, recovery, and disaster recovery (Backup Exec) of file directories, server data-base files, and application server files. i. Provide vulnerability mitigation and documentation via STIGS, the Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) tool, and network security investigations/forensics. j. Provide server security and remediation through manual security reviews, verifying Service Center Config-uration Manager (SCCM) patch completion, monitoring local Host Based Security System (HBSS) events, and reviewing the Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) scans; report any security related finding to the Government. k. Attend bi-weekly CAB meetings and weekly support teleconferences. l. Provide incident and problem resolution and provide incident escalation: document all issues by opening trouble tickets and tracking from start to close (to include work performed and fix actions for historical pur-poses) via GTMS and/or ITSM. m. Provide required acknowledgements, responses, research activities, and complete fix actions to DISA oper-ational directives, security policy, and guidelines from CTOs, DTOs, IAVAs, STIGs, OPORDS from USCYBERCOMMAND, and DODI on DITCO mission servers.
