Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage reservations Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Shift4 and ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff. Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities through friendly suggestions. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols. Assist with food handling, preparation support, and basic food industry tasks to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries promptly, managing guest relations, and resolving issues professionally. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred; experience as cafe barista is a plus Strong skills in time management, multitasking, and prioritizing tasks during busy hours. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques. Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest services and hospitality excellence. Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and cashiering duties accurately. Experience in serving, bussing tables, or host/hostess roles demonstrates a solid foundation in guest relations.
