Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Expo/Food Runner, where you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences by ensuring timely and accurate food service. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help maintain smooth kitchen operations and guest satisfaction. Responsibilities Safely handle and transport food items from the kitchen to dining areas, adhering to food safety standards and safe lifting practices Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, supporting kitchen staff in plating and garnishing dishes Serve food efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to ensure accurate orders and billing Buss tables promptly by clearing dishes, resetting tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas Support banquet events by delivering food to designated areas with professionalism and timeliness Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to coordinate order delivery and guest needs Uphold high standards of food handling, manual handling, and customer service throughout all duties Qualifications Previous restaurant experience or hospitality background preferred, including food service or food handling roles Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Experience in banquet service, bussing, or catering environments is advantageous Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and follow safe lifting practices consistently Strong communication skills with a focus on guest services and teamwork Knowledge of food safety standards and basic culinary or kitchen experience beneficial Prior hotel or culinary experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential Join us and be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering memorable dining experiences!
