COCKTAIL SERVER RESPONSIBILITIES
Receive and take guest orders and process in a timely manner through whatever systems are currently used in the restaurant. Serve food and beverages to guests. Perform side work as assigned Operate point of sale system. Straighten chairs, and keep floor free of debris. Clean service area and replenish as needed. Bus and set tables. Handle cash and credit transactions. Perform other duties as assigned. Communicate with support crew and management. Adhere to the WA Hospitality Cash Handling Policy. Assists Bartender with additional duties as needed.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Able to push, stand, stoop, bend, and lift items weighing up to 25 pounds repetitively Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays Knowledge of wine and other alcoholic beverages and have the ability to explain to guests. Must be able to obtain an Indiana Employee Liquor Permit. Must be age 21 or above.
EXPERIENCE
Previous bartending or cocktail serving experience preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Able to push, stand, stoop, bend, and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds repetitively
