Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Server and become the heart of an exceptional dining experience! In this lively role, you will deliver outstanding guest service, ensure food and beverage orders are accurately taken and promptly served, and create a welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including processing payments and providing correct change Maintain food safety and sanitation standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting overall restaurant operations Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and supporting host/hostess duties as needed to ensure smooth service flow Utilize reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage guest bookings effectively Build positive guest relations through attentive service, personalized recommendations, and genuine hospitality Qualifications Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub settings Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs professionally Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining guest satisfaction Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Previous experience in serving, bussing, or host/hostess roles is highly desirable Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and accurate billing Culinary or kitchen experience is advantageous but not required; a passion for the food industry is essential Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed in a lively environment Join us in creating memorable experiences for our guests!
