Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in casual dining or Beer and Wine bar settings, showcasing exceptional guest service skills and a passion for delivering an outstanding dining experience. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service to our guests, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and efficiency. Duties Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take food and beverage orders accurately using Toast POS systems. Provide detailed menu descriptions, including daily specials, to enhance guest relations. Upsell menu items to maximize sales and enhance the dining experience. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining food safety standards. Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area. Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and timely service. Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods. Qualifications Previous experience in casual dining or beer and wine bar environments is preferred. But, not required. Liquor License / Bartender experience is also preferred Strong guest service skills with an emphasis on guest relations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks. Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential. Experience with sales techniques, particularly upselling, is highly desirable. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
