You will build professional relationships with our guests while helping maintain a clean and organized environment. We get big turnouts from a high number of shows from Clowes Hall scheduled next door, events at Hinkle Fieldhouse (the other next door), and our beloved neighborhood regulars that help us maintain consistent lunch and dinner shifts alike. We host our guests with a big indoor bar, multiple dining/party rooms, and one of the biggest patios around. In the spring, summer, and fall we expect to see a busy patio every nice day and evening. In the fall and winter we are busy with all the events going on around us, notably from the basketball season and the shows from Clowes Hall and Schrott Center. If you have any serving or bartending experience, training should go quickly and easily for you. If you are new to this field, we will teach you everything you need to know to be one of the best at your new job! Some have a natural, untapped knack for this kind of work and end up doing very well. Training includes cleaning standards, service basics, our expectations of service, as well as alcohol and food menu knowledge. We expect each of our servers to be as knowledgeable as they are attentive. Most of our current staff have been with us from the very beginning, with some hired shortly after. The tips and hours are good. Our staff members have been making the right income and benefits to stick with us for quite some time.
