Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a smooth flow of service. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation. Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities. Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met through proper food handling, cleaning, and bussing procedures. Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and providing personalized service to foster repeat business. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties with basic math skills, and process payments efficiently using POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms. Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally. Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while multitasking seamlessly. Familiarity with food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques. Experience with upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining guest satisfaction. Background in culinary arts or kitchen experience is a plus for understanding food preparation processes.
