Bar Server

Duties Greet guests warmly and take beverage and food orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, ensuring quality and presentation meet brand standards. Manage multiple tables efficiently by prioritizing service, maintaining excellent time management skills to deliver prompt service. Handle cash transactions accurately through cash handling and cashiering procedures; process payments swiftly and securely. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling regulations at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders, including catering or banquet services when applicable. Engage with guests to promote sales, recommend beverages, and enhance overall customer satisfaction in a fine dining or nightclub atmosphere. Qualifications Proven experience in food service, retail math, or hospitality roles; previous bar or restaurant experience preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; strong basic math skills for cash handling and sales calculations. Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and alcohol serving regulations. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters guest loyalty. Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail. Experience working in nightlife venues like nightclubs or in banquet settings is a plus; catering experience is advantageous.
