- Part-time Join our team as a server/waiter/waitress at the Blue Gate Restaurant, a themed restaurant in Shipshewana, Indiana.
Your job duties include:
Welcoming guests. Guiding them through the menu. Offering personalized suggestions. Taking and processing accurate orders. Delivering food and drinks promptly. Doing side work as assigned. A year-round server/waiter/waitress will work three to five days a week, between 10:00 am and closing, typically around 9:00 pm, including evenings and Saturdays. We have six-hour and ten-hour shifts. A server can earn between $100 and $300 per shift, including hourly wages and daily tips. This is not a seasonal or temporary job! The Blue Gate Restaurant is a family-owned and operated company. We pride ourselves on giving our best effort to ensure each guest has a great experience. Must be willing and available to work on days, nights, weekends (Fridays and Saturdays), and holidays. Complete knowledge of the restaurant menu and understanding of the Blue Gate Hospitality properties and offerings. Must be at least 18 years old. Warm, welcoming personality. Attention to detail. Actively practice teamwork. Observe a themed dress code. Amish-style dress with an apron (Women) Black pants and buttoned-down shirt (Men) Tattoos must be covered. Multi-tasking, listening, and communication skills.Perform the physical demands:
lift and carry up to 30 pounds, remain on your feet for several hours, work under pressure, and perform tasks that require bending, reaching, and stooping.Job Type:
