Job Description
Overview Join our vibrant team as a Server and be the welcoming face that creates memorable dining experiences! In this energetic role, you'll deliver exceptional customer service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met, and help guests feel at home from the moment they walk through the door. Your enthusiasm, attention to detail, and culinary knowledge will contribute to a lively, upscale environment where guests return time and again. Duties Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of dishes and beverages to enhance their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS systems, ensuring timely delivery Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales while maintaining genuine guest engagement Serve food and drinks efficiently, ensuring proper food handling, sanitation, and presentation standards are upheld Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to support smooth restaurant operations Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems like OpenTable or POS terminals, including cash handling and basic math calculations Requirements Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or upscale restaurants Strong knowledge of POS systems including Toast. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters guest loyalty Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while multitasking seamlessly across duties such as serving, bussing, and order taking Culinary experience or background in food handling and preparation is highly desirable Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices to ensure compliance at all times Experience with OpenTable reservations system or other guest management tools is a plus Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed in a fast-paced environment Join us in creating lively atmospheres where every guest leaves with a smile!
