Duties Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, highlighting daily specials and beverage options. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery. Upsell menu items and suggest pairings to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation. Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring a positive dining experience. Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods in a fast-paced environment. Utilize reservation systems like OpenTable to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements for maximum efficiency. Requirements Proven restaurant experience with a strong background in food service or hospitality roles. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests confidently and professionally. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Culinary experience or kitchen background is advantageous for understanding menu items and preparation standards. Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining guest satisfaction. Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction processing.
