Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of the food service industry. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring that all food safety and sanitation standards are met. Duties Greet and seat guests promptly, providing them with menus and information about daily specials. Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS system, ensuring all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff. Provide recommendations for food and drink pairings, utilizing upselling techniques to enhance guest satisfaction. Deliver orders to tables in a timely manner, ensuring that all items are presented beautifully and meet quality standards. Monitor guest needs throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly to ensure satisfaction. Process payments accurately through cash handling and cashiering procedures, maintaining a balanced cash register at the end of each shift. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and assisting with sanitation efforts as needed. Requirements Previous restaurant experience is preferred Familiarity with Aloha POS system is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations and hospitality. Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods. Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling. Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated. Experience as a host/host or in guest services can enhance your candidacy.
