Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a smooth flow of service. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and communicate orders clearly to kitchen staff. Provide detailed menu descriptions, recommend specials, and upsell items to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards, ensuring proper food handling and sanitation practices. Check in with guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction, address concerns promptly, and promote guest relations. Clear tables efficiently by bussing dishes and resetting tables for new guests while maintaining cleanliness standards. Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems like OpenTable or POS terminals, including cash handling and basic math calculations. Collaborate with team members to support food preparation, kitchen operations, and overall restaurant flow during busy nights or events such as nightclub evenings. Maintain knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation procedures to uphold high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is essential; experience with OpenTable is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle guest relations professionally. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods. Knowledge of food handling safety standards, sanitation practices, and basic math for cash handling tasks. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant's schedule. Experience in upselling techniques, serving, bussing, host/hostess duties, or food preparation is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to work well within a team environment in fast-paced settings such as fine dining establishments or nightclubs.
