The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, a passion for the food industry, and the ability to create memorable dining experiences for our guests. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service, taking orders, and ensuring guest satisfaction in a fine dining setting. Duties Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials. Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems. Upsell menu items and suggest pairings to enhance the dining experience. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests while maintaining high standards of presentation. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal and address any concerns promptly. Process payments accurately through cash handling and cashiering procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables as needed. Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely food preparation. Requirements Previous restaurant experience in a serving role is preferred; fine dining experience is a plus. Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations and hospitality. Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast (what we use). Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling. Time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables during peak hours. Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation is beneficial. Understanding of food safety regulations and sanitation practices within the food industry. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, in a fast-paced environment.
