Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. Duties Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, offering detailed descriptions of dishes and specials. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness. Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities. Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring overall satisfaction throughout the dining experience. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and processing payments via POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms. Maintain sanitation standards by adhering to food safety guidelines, proper food handling procedures, and sanitation protocols. Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations. Support guest services by managing reservations, seating arrangements, and accommodating special requests in a fine dining or nightclub setting. Qualifications Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, ideally with fine dining or nightclub backgrounds. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus. Strong knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally. Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours. Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a friendly demeanor. Previous host/hostess or serving experience is preferred; bartending or food industry experience is a plus. Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction processing. Knowledge of culinary terminology and kitchen operations enhances service quality.
