As a vital member of our hospitality family, you will deliver exceptional guest experiences by providing friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable service. Your role will involve taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring every guest leaves satisfied and eager to return. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and guide them through the menu, highlighting specials and upselling opportunities to enhance their experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery Serve food, beverages, cocktails, wine, and spirits with professionalism and enthusiasm while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards Manage sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling, credit card processing, and balancing registers at shift end Assist with food preparation tasks when needed and support kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations; bus tables promptly and assist with host/hostess duties as required Foster positive guest relations by providing attentive service, addressing concerns promptly, and creating a welcoming atmosphere Qualifications Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred; fine dining experience is a plus Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is advantageous Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively Culinary or food industry experience including wine knowledge, cocktail experience, spirits expertise, and food safety practices Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently in a fast-paced environment Basic math skills for accurate check splitting and cash handling; attention to detail is essential Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Prior experience in serving or host/hostess roles is highly desirable Join us in creating memorable dining moments by combining your passion for hospitality with your expertise in food service!
