Duties Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of menu items to enhance their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely and correct delivery Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining genuine guest engagement Serve food and drinks efficiently, adhering to food safety standards and sanitation protocols Assist with bussing tables, cleaning service areas, and resetting tables promptly to maintain a clean and welcoming environment Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities, while managing openTable reservations when applicable Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth food preparation and timely service for all guests Requirements Previous restaurant or food service experience, preferably in fine dining or nightclub settings Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle guest inquiries professionally Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and billing procedures Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment Experience with food industry terminology, serving protocols, and hospitality best practices is highly desirable Embark on a rewarding career where your energy makes a difference!
