Job Description
Please read the following information carefully before applying! 440 Main is now accepting applications for food servers/cocktail servers/bartenders for the summer season and beyond. We are an upscale, full-service restaurant providing extraordinary service to our guests. What We Require Minimum 1-2 years experience in a full-service restaurant Availablity 4/5 nights per week, Fridays and Saturday are mandatory Job references required What You'll Do Provide friendly, attentive service to guests throughout their visit Take accurate food and drink orders using our POS system Deliver food and beverages quickly and correctly Recommend menu items and upsell when appropriate to enhance the guest experience Manage multiple tables while staying organized and efficient Respond to guest requests quickly and professionally to ensure a great dining experience Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude while working in a fast-paced environment What We're Looking For Strong customer service skills and a friendly, outgoing personality A professional attitude and ability to work well with others Basic math skills for handling payments and cash transactions Good time management and the ability to multitask during busy shifts Confidence in recommending menu items and engaging with guests
