The Job Center is looking for dedicated Banquet Servers to join our events team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing attentive, quality service to guests during catered events, weddings, and conferences. The ideal candidates are energetic, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced team environment, ensuring that events run smoothly. Shift Times & Pay 9a m- 4:30 pm ( Monday -Wednesday) $16.90
Key Responsibilities Event Setup:
Prepare banquet rooms by setting tables with proper linens, polished silverware, and glassware according to function specifications.
Buffet Management:
Keep buffet areas, side stations, and coffee stations clean, stocked, and presentable throughout the event.
Guest Service:
Greet guests warmly, provide professional table service, and respond to guest requests promptly.
Food & Beverage Service:
Serve beverages, replenish buffet items, and clear plates/utensils (manicuring tables) to maintain a tidy dining area.
Breakdown & Cleanup:
Assist with event breakdown by clearing tables, removing linens, and resetting the space for future events.
Safety & Sanitation:
Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and service guidelines to maintain a safe environment. Qualifications Previous experience as a banquet server or in a similar hospitality role preferred but not required. Strong team-player attitude with the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Ability to stand and walk for long periods (up to 8 hours) and lift/carry trays, tables, and equipment.
