Event Server Salyers Group - 4.0 Covington, KY Job Details Part-time $15 an hour 16 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Moving Full Job Description Event Server Principal responsibility is to provide friendly, attentive, and timely service to create an exceptional experience for all guests for contracted events at The Madison Event Center and Hotel Covington.
Duties:
Remain guest-focused while performing all assigned duties before, during, and after an event Assume 100% responsibility for the quality of each guest experience Welcome and greet guests upon entering The Madison/Hotel Covington Provide information about our food, beverages, and other functions and services Perform side work during each shift as assigned by Banquet Captain Maintain clean and fully stocked prep area, restrooms, and ballroom Ready and willing to assist other team members with event duties Handle tables, chairs, linens, tableware, and décor carefully to prevent breakage and loss Always follow safe food handling guidelines Clean and reset ballroom at the end of every event Attend all scheduled employee meetings and provides suggestions for improvement Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
A positive and upbeat attitude and work well with all team members Must be 18 years of age Must be able to work weekends Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Punctual An energetic and motivated personality Excellent oral communication and listening skills Ability to follow directions Be willing to work until the job is complete and perform other duties assigned Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours) Be able to reach, bend, and safely lift and maneuver up to 30 pounds and move up to 100 pounds with assistance

Uniform Policy Compensation & Schedule:
$15.00 hourly Part-time, hours will vary depending on events scheduled Eligible for annual review and merit
